Stop Intro 360 and Email Your New York City Councilmember
🏠📢Calling All New Yorkers!📢đźŹ
On Wednesday, June 12th, REBNY coordinated a rally with 1,500 brokers and real estate professionals at City Hall in opposition to Intro. 360, the “FARE” Act, otherwise known as the “Broker Fee Bill.”
You made your voices heard against legislation that will make rents higher, further limit housing access, and threaten the livelihood of hardworking agents across New York City.
More than a dozen REBNY members testified at the hearing to outline a wide range of flaws with the legislation and the negative outcomes it would produce for renters, agents, owners, and New York City’s broader economy. Here is what they shared.
The job isn’t done yet. It’s crucial that we continue to push back against this harmful legislation. We need your help to keep the momentum going. Please email your local Councilmember and the Chair of the New York City Council on Consumer Affairs to express your opposition to the “FARE” Act. Your voice can make a difference in stopping this bill from advancing.
All emails can be edited if you would like to add your personal story or change any of the language. Please be civil, emails with derogatory language will not be sent.Â
Together, we can protect our city’s real estate market and ensure a fair and prosperous future for all.
Let’s keep New York City affordable and stop this legislation from passing.
